Simulation of neutron-tagged deep inelastic scattering at EicC *

Abstract Measuring the pionic structure function is of high interest, as it provides a new area for understanding strong interaction among quarks and testing QCD predictions. To this end, we investigate feasibility expected impact possible experiment at EicC (Electron-ion collider in China). We show simulation results on statistical precision an measurement, based model leading neutron tagged DIS process parton distribution functions pion from JAM18 global analysis. The shows that EicC, kinematics cover range 0.01 to 1, $Q^2$?> 1 50 GeV $^2$?> , within acceptable uncertainty. Assuming integrated luminosity fb $^{-1}$?> low- $Q^{2}$?> region ( $\lt 10$?> ), Monte Carlo data suggested measurement whole $x_{\rm{\pi}}$?> reaches very 3$?> %). perform such experiment, only addition far-forward calorimeter needed.
